Dear Y´s Men all over the world.

It is a great pleasure for me to congratulate you all that we now have passed 100 years as Y´s Men.

Our organization has slowly grown all over the world and still we are chartering clubs in new countries.

In Denmark we are building up what we call CEE (Central East Europe) and we are succeeding to get more clubs in these countries in cooperation with the YMCA.

My hope is that we in few years can get a new Region in the eastern part of Europe.

Just at the time we have a great task because of big problems in Ukraine. Our fellow Y´s Men in CEE are doing a good job to help the refugies and my hope is that we can celebrate our 100 years with peace in that part of Europe so we can concentrate on building up more clubs.

Thank you Taiwan for taking up organizing the 100 years jubilee. Hopefully Y´s Men from all Areas will send representatives for the big party.

The fellowship with Y´s Men is the best platform to be “a real Y´s Man”.

Go ye into all the world – explore the life in Y´s dom – go back home and inspire your fellow Y´s Men  to go for conventions. Many clubmembers need the sight outside the club to find out what fellowship they can get among Y´s Men with another culture.

Let us all sing this song together at the jubilee in Taiwan: Should old acquaintance be forgot….

And there’s a hand my trusty friend!
And give me a hand o’ thine!
And we’ll take a right good-will draught,
for auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
